I received permission to use an image of a belted calf for a painting, because I don't, or haven't seen them around here.  I believe this one lived in the Netherlands, or was it Norway???  I love the side view, and the moon shining in the background!  I enjoy painting the black cows, but there is something about black and white!  This one spoke to me.

Also, we had the Ally Cat art walk, and in participation with Sophie's Gallery I painted a cutting board, which sells for $65 plus shipping if applicable,  it can also be picked up locally if you are here.

It's not a cropped photo of it hanging, which I can probably get tomorrow when they open, but you get the idea I'm sure.  Sophie's is a not for profit craft opportunity for the Developmentally Disabled, the proceeds from this art show sale from local artists will go toward putting another mural here in Downtown El Cajon.
