I'm back to paintings, the party is over!  Thanks to everyone who wished me well on my birthday, it was wonderful.

I do love back lighting.  This little painting has it focused directly on a Texas Longhorn baby.  I took the original reference photo in Temecula at a ranch that raised both Longhorns and Guernsey's for showing.  I'll be painting some Guernsey's soon also in fact as I was able to take quite a lot of great reference photos there.
